Stage 2 - Dunoon, Cowal, Kyles of Bute &Tighnabruaich


The B836 along Glen Lean takes you up to the Loch Tarsan reservoir before dropping down to Loch Striven. The road climbs again before meeting the A886.

North on the A886 takes you into the Glendaruel valley with camping and several sites of historical interest.

Our route picks up the A8003 towards Tighnabruaich. As the road climbs there is an amazing scenic viewpoint - grid NS 000 775 down on to Loch Riddon and the Kyles of Bute.
